HCG Diet Day 2
I started the HCG diet after seeing how 5 of my co-workers experienced amazing success with the diet. I'm not going to get into how it works and what the pregnancy hormone is because you can find that on any site on the Internet. This blog is going to be a journal about my experience day to day with the diet and if it really does work. Instead of getting the shots like my co-workers did, I decided to do the drops. I don't have health insurance yet so I didn't have any other choice. I purchased the drops from http://www.healthyhcg.com/ which seems to be a reputable place. So for the first two days of the diet you are supposed to eat fattening foods to capacity. This was hard for me because I wanted to start losing weight asap but this part of the diet everyone says is very important. Once you get passed those two days your body will need to feed off of and burn that fat while only consuming 500 calories per day. This fat that you consumed will help you last 26 or so days while only eating 500 calories. Make sense? So of course I don't know how to follow any rules and it's day two for me but I'm not eating fattening foods. I'm starting the actual diet. I ate Taco Bell for dinner last night and it made me feel so gross and sick, I couldn't bear to eat fat another day. So this morning, I took my drops and got on the scale and realized I gained 2.6 lbs from the Taco Bell excursion the night before. So now I'm at 148.6 pounds. So far I've consumed a cup of coffee with one tablespoon of milk (that's all the milk you can have a day). Then an hour later I ate a small cutie (orange). at 12:00 I'm going to take my second round of drops (3 total rounds per day). Then I will eat my plain chicken (yummy! not!) with spinach. I won't get to eat my protein and vegetables again until dinner. Your really only supposed to have two meals per day but can snack on healthy items that you are allowed. So far I don't have hunger pangs and it's almost 11:00.
