Basketball Wives LA Firing

"Basketball Wives LA" is nothing short of extreme drama every episode, every week. This is only the second season of the hit television show but executives have already cleaned house. There are only going to be two original cast members returning for season three. Among the fired is Gloria Govan, her sister Laura Govan, Malaysia Pargo and new comer Brooke Bailey. VH1 has yet to confirm the firings but Gloria Govan may be the reason behind it. Sources close to the show say that executives were angry that Gloria secretly got married during filming in Vegas to Matt Barnes without letting producers know. Laura, Malyasia and Brooke were reportedly fired because they didn't allow all aspects of their lives be filmed. The only two expected to return would be Jackie Christie and Draya Michele. The pair both currently despise eachother and had a physical alteracation just this season. Malyasia has become extremely boring this season as she has been trying to become the soft spoken peacemaker. If they want to keep the title "Basketball Wives LA" then the producers should find actual "wives" as castmembers. For season one and part of season two the only "wife" is Jackie Christie. The rest are two girlfriends and basketball "groupies." To me that just doesn't make sense. The only one out of the four I would be sad to see go would be Brooke Bailey. Brooke seems like a very sweet girl with a no nonsense attitude. In the latest episode she stood up for herself taking on Malyasia and Jackie Christie in one sitting. The castmembers are being very coy about rumors and haven't commented yet confirming if they are 100% true or not. "Basketball Wives LA" can be seen Monday night on VH1.
