"The Real Housewives of Miami" Ends with A Bang
Since the show first aired "The Real Housewives of Miami" was getting even more attention than it's successful counterpart "The Real Housewives of New Jersey." The Bravo Network had fired and hired new castmembers which obviously has made a huge difference. Not only that but music superstar Lady Gaga took to her Twitter page to show appreciation for the show. Last night she tweeted "Miami cast takes the win." "If I was Lisa I would just get drunk and go swimming now."
Lisa Hochstein who is married to a very successful plastic surgeon hosted a charity event at her amazing mansion. The event was a lingerie party to benefit the Susan G. Komen foundation. I'm not really sure what lingerie has to do with the charity but it makes for good television. "Girls Gone Wild" creator Joe Francis started the drama by spreading the word around the party that he had slept with Joanna Krupa and her sister Marta. Joanna flipped out but it turned out that Marta later admitted to sleeping with him.
The finale ended with Adriana confronting Karent about the issues they had been having all season. The straw that broke the camels back was an interview of Karent that a blogger had posted in some article. In the article Karent was quoted as saying that the rest of the castmembers had "botox for brains" amongst other derogatory comments. Karent denied this to Adriana saying her words were misconstrued. Before the girls could hash out their differences, Joanna butted in siding with Karent. This infuriated Adriana and digs between the two were thrown back and forth. Adriana decided to walk away from the fight but Joanna chased after her. Joanna went to grab Adriana's arm and Adriana spun around and punched her in the face. It definitely was one of the most dramatic scenes that will go down in "Housewives" history. No word yet on when the reunion episodes will air but I am hoping they will be better than the last season. If you remember, the ratings were so bad during the first season that the reunion was held in the embarrassingly small "Watch What Happens Live" studio.

I do remember the first reunion of ‘The Real Housewives of Miami,’ and not only was it on the ‘Watch What Happens Live’ set, it was actually live and Andy Cohen lost control quick as there was no one to filter the language. This season is definitely more entertaining than the first, and I still can not believe Adriana was not arrested for hitting Joanna. I have a new work schedule at DISH and will miss next week’s episode. I set my Hopper to record the upcoming show, and since there is so much DVR recording space I’m going to record the rest of the season. I can’t wait to see what other craziness these women get themselves into.
